Transnational Online Workshop and how RDI2CluB did it

Current world state has forced everyone to find new methods for working, studying, communicating and even for innovating. Modern tools make working easy but how to keep the conversation flowing and rich with a transnational working group?

RDI2CluB-project originally planned to have a transnational workshop in Latvia (partner region) in April, but due to the travel limitations of Covid-19 we were forced to think alternative execution methods for the workshop. Cancellation became in March and the timetable for new arrangements was fairly tight. With good cooperation, we were able to alter our workshop programs to an online form and host a 1 day online workshop 23.04.2020.

Workshop had more than 20 participants from five different regions: Finland, Norway, Poland, Latvia and Estonia. Day included three separate workshops that had different goals:

  • Regional Pilots: to present ongoing local pilots and their results so far, as well as a communicating tool for them (impact report)

  • Joint Action Plan: to form a joint opinion of the updating of RDI2CluB’s Joint Action Plan

  • Biobord and Network Agreement: to analyze previously conducted surveys (Biobord and the future of the network) and form a joint opinion of the needed updates.

All workshops were successful and usefull for the future development. Please find the full report here: Transnational Online Workshop report 14.05.2020_vs02.pdf (338.9 KB)
