Paper Province is launching an international innovation competition where new ideas will be in focus!
The focus is on ideas within forest bioeconomy and it’s open to all. Do you have any start-ups, researchers or other actors with ideas worth scaling up? Take a look at the attached one pager and the homepage for more information.
Gunnar Sundblad Research Foundation is contributing the 1st prize of €25,000.
Sveaskog and Stora Enso are contributing the prize money for 2nd – 5th places, €2,500 for each team.
You are most welcome to share the information about the competition!
Hi @paperprovince_magnus,
Are there any criteria to participate? We have students at our faculty (Inland Norway University of
Applied Sciences, Faculty of Applied Ecology, Agricultural Sciences and Biotechnology) who are studying for a bachelor of forestry. They will have innovation and entrepreneurship in their studies this spring, and this might be of interest to them.
Hi @marius,
Have a look at the homepage whatwoodyoudo.eu and you will find the criteria when it opens in six days. Students are one of the main target groups for this challenge so it would be great if they would participate!
Have you seen this Innovation challenge @Biotalouskampus_staff, especially @Aino? And also memebers in @Pohjoinen_Pooli, feel free to share the information about the competition.
