Dear @RDI2CluB team and all other users of Biobord, you are all welcome to next Hubs On Stage event 11th of February 2020. This event is hosted by Regional Council of Central Finland and will focus on two themes: Regional future and foresight work and Food related events.
In Central Finland the future and foresight work is an important part of regional development. The foresight process provides systemic analysis of drivers of change, alternative futures and their implications for present actions. The Regional Council of Central Finland is coordinating the regional foresight network that brings together different organizations. One tool in this work are Regional Future Scenarios 2050. They present five possible views of future world and they can be used in supporting future-oriented planning and decision-making. You are welcome to hear and discuss about the regional future and foresight work and scenarios and how to use them in development of bioeconomy. This topic will be presented by Regional development specialist Kirsi Mukkala from Regional Council of Central Finland.
In Central Finland various kind of events, races etc. have been organized lately to make the regional food and its development visible. We are happy to present our concepts of photo competition and multi-locational seminar, for example, and to hear about the good practices from other actors and regions as well. This topic will be presented by Development Manager Raija Partanen and Project Manager Suvi Bayr from Regional Council of Central Finland.
